Themics is proud to have supported Paultons Park across a variety of projects, ranging from major themed lands and dark rides to seasonal events and the park's logo feature. Through close collaboration with the park and its creative partners, we have helped deliver immersive experiences that continue to delight guests of all ages.
Valgard – Realm of the Vikings
With the opening of Valgard – Realm of the Vikings, Paultons Park has once again demonstrated its commitment to high-quality theming and intricate storytelling. For this ambitious development, Themics was entrusted to bring the designs by Leisure Expert Group to life through detailed fabrication and engineering.
Our scope included the creation of multiple ride entrance marquees for Drakon, Raven, and Vild Swing, as well as two distinctive themed portals, statues, props with integrated lighting, and handcrafted wooden ships. A key highlight of the project was the production, engineering, and assembly of fifteen animatronics, including an interactive raven and a unique sheep wheel powering the adjacent coaster lift.
Working closely with Paultons Park’s technical team, our engineers supported the installation, programming, and testing, ensuring seamless integration. The result is a richly themed environment that enhances immersion and elevates the guest experience.
Interactive Dark Ride Ghostly Manor
Themics also collaborated with Lagotronics Projects on the award-winning Ghostly Manor dark ride. Based on designs by Leisure Expert Group, our team produced the complete interior show sets, themed props, special effects, and more than twenty animated characters and animatronics. Combining physical scenery with projection mapping and digital effects, Ghostly Manor delivers an immersive and atmospheric experience that showcases the power of integrated storytelling and technology.
Seasonal Celebrations At the award-winning Paultons Park, home of the popular Halloween Spooktacular, Themics once again partnered with the park to help elevate one of the UK's most beloved family Halloween events. The project featured several eye-catching signature installations, including a towering Giant Pumpkin Tree equipped with programmable lighting effects, a large collection of uniquely themed pumpkins, and a fully themed Pumpkin Tractor that quickly became a guest favorite. Designed to create visual impact both during daylight hours and after sunset, these custom elements contribute to the event's distinctive atmosphere while providing numerous photo opportunities for families throughout the park. By combining themed fabrication, lighting integration, and seasonal storytelling, the installations help transform Paultons Park into a vibrant autumn destination filled with character and festive charm.
Embodying Family Experiences
Our partnership with Paultons Park extends beyond individual attractions. In previous years, Themics also fabricated the park's main entrance logo signage and produced a variety of IP-based character figures for the world-famous Peppa Pig World.
